Festival of Curiosity 2013: Science & Discovery in Dublin

The newest festival celebrating science and discovery has opened in Dublin. The Festival of Curiosity will feature more than 70 events this weekend. It includes  free daytime events including a city treasure hunt, Illusion at the Science Gallery, a Horrible History tour as well as an evening program of interactive science debates and shows. Tonight (Friday) Dara O Briain will perform a live show about how science will transform lives at the Mansion House.

Journal Citation Reports: 2013 edition update

The 2013 ed update of Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) provides a combination of impact and influence metrics, and millions of cited and citing journal data points that comprise the complete journal citation network of Web of ScienceSM. This JCR update includes:
  • More than 10,800 of the world's most highly cited, peer reviewed journals in 232 disciplines
  • Nearly 2,500 publishers and 83 countries represented
  • 379 journals receiving their first Journal Impact Factor
