Your DIT Student card is your DIT Library card

There have been quite a few queries this week at the desk (as you'd expect at this time of year) about how to borrow from the Library. Just to highlight that your new student card is your library card.

To be able to borrow books or other DIT Library items, you need to pick up your DIT student card. Once you collect your card from Student Services your DIT Library account will be active within 24 hours. Check Student Services opening hours and contact details are available here

Other reasons to collect your card:
  • You can add Datapac Photocopying/Printing credit to your student card
  • Use your student card to access and borrow from any of the six DIT Libraries
  • Use your card to access and exit buildings (e.g. Church Lane in Kevin St)

Have a question? Ask us at kst.library.dit.ie or 01-4024894
