Abbreviating Journal titles

Some biomedical science students were asking this week about how to abbreviate journal titles correctly in a bibliography or list of references.

A couple of handy resources that 'translate' the full journal title into the most commonly used acronym / abbreviated version are:

1. Web of Science Listing 
2. BIOS
3. Science (acronyms only)
