October Holiday Weekend update

Kevin St Library is closed on Saturday 29th and Monday 31st October for the holiday weekend. Usual semester hours resume on Tuesday 1st November at 9am.

Semester hours are:
  • Monday - Thursday: 09.00-21.30
  • Fridays: 09.00-17.15
  • Saturdays: 9.00-16.30

Off campus access to your DIT Library Account and eResources

Did you know that DIT students and staff have an online library account?  If you are not on-campus this week you may wish to know how to renew your books online, reserve a library book or view your reading history

You can also use your DIT Library PIN and/or DIT email password to access ebooks, databases and ejournals, (including scholarly articles, standards and conference papers) from a laptop or from home. For more information see Off Campus Access

Student Group Study Rooms

Kevin St Library has 2 group study rooms available to book for groups of  2-5 students who need a space for peer tutoring, to work on group assignments or practice presentations

Rooms A206 and A207 in the library can be booked for 1 or 2 hour slots from 9am daily. Each room has a plasma screen which can be connected to your laptop or to one of the Library student use laptops. The rooms also have whiteboards and a stationery pack with markers and erasers can be borrowed at the Library Desk.

A207 is the larger group study room and can accommodate two groups of  up to five students (separated by a screen).


Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis at the library desk. Alternatively email, tweet or phone (01-4024894) the library to make a booking.
