ASME Digital Collections
Coverage: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers offers a global technical publishing operation with 30 full text journal titles, conference proceedings and ASME Press books. Titles include Journal of Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering Magazine select articles, Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics, Journal of Nanotechnology in Engineering and Medicine.

GeoRef
Comprehensive abstracts and index database. 3.4 million references to geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses.
Established by the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) in 1966.

GeoScienceWorld
Coverage: Earth sciences. 45 full text scholarly journals plus specialised searching capabilities and links to relevant international resources.

Women Writers Project
Coverage: The Brown University early modern women's writing collection contains rare and less familiar texts published between 1526 and 1850. Accessed via digital tools for browsing and analysing the 800+ resources.

"French Cultural Studies" Journal

New to Kevin Street Library is the journal "French Cultural Studies".

Published quarterly, French Quarterly Studies aims to attract the best current research in all areas of French and Francophone cultural practice and cultural history, from the Revolution to the present day, including: cultural policy and institutions, popular culture, music, cinema, art history, linguistics in its cultural context, and French culture in the world.





The latest edition Vol 30 No. 1 February 2019 is available to read in print format in Kevin Street Library or online via the library catalogue.

The latest IReL databases and journal collections recently added to TU Dublin Library (dit.ie/library/databases)


The following new databases/journal collections are now available both on and off-campus via the Databases A-Z list (http://www.dit.ie/library/databases/):

American Association for Microbiology
The American Society for Microbiology is the oldest and largest single life science membership organization in the world. Membership has grown from 59 scientists in 1899 to more than 43,000 members today, with more than one third located outside the United States. The members represent 26 disciplines of microbiological specialization plus a division for microbiology educators. There are 15 titles in the package.


British Medical Journal Collection
The British Medical Association publishes a wide range of medical journals (including the BMJ) covering a broad selection of medical areas. There are almost 30 titles in the package. 


Cambridge Journals Online
Cambridge Journals Online (CJO) is the e-publishing service for over 380 journals published by Cambridge University Press in the areas of computer science, genetics, humanities, law, mathematics, medicine, philosophy, physics, politics, psychology, science, technology. 



JSTOR provides a comprehensive digital archive of important scholarly journals. Institutions gain access to the archive and support its preservation by participating in collections. JSTOR offers multidisciplinary and discipline-specific collections that include complete runs of journals as well as select monographs, transactions, and conference proceedings. IReL currently has access to the following 2 collections: JSTOR Arts and Sciences I to VII, and JSTOR Life Sciences Collection. Subject coverage includes: architecture, arts, business, economics, film, history of art, life sciences, science, social science. 

New England Journal of Medicine
The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) is a weekly general medical journal that publishes new medical research findings, review articles, and editorial opinion on a wide variety of topics of importance to biomedical science and clinical practice.

Library Services is delighted to announce a significant expansion to our online resources collection for 2019 through the IReL consortium. The new resources which consist of e-journal packages, databases, and single journal titles will be made available to member of TU Dublin City Campus over the coming weeks. Keep an eye on the library website for more information re. availability.

IReL (the Irish Research e-Library) is a nationally funded online research library providing access to leading Science Technology and Medicine (STM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) resources. TU Dublin – City Campus access to these resources for 2019 is being funded by the Directorate of Research, Enterprise & Innovation Services and HEA.

AACR Journals Collection
The American Association for Cancer Research is the oldest and largest scientific organization in the world focused on every aspect of high-quality, innovative cancer research. GeoRef is the most comprehensive AGI database in the geosciences and continues to grow by more than 80,000 references a year. Journal of Biological Chemistry
Published by the American Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (ASBMP) the Journal of Biological Chemistry welcomes high-quality science that seeks to elucidate the molecular and cellular basis of biological processes. The Journal of Cell Biology
